On September 9th, 2011 Sissiboo Farm Supplies hosted "An Evening of Home Spun Entertainment" in appreciation of our farmers and their business

The evening started with "The Digby Chicks" amazing young musicians from Digby county.

The event was held at the Weymouth Legion and featured a "Home Spun Menu" food grown locally.

The keynote speaker for the evening was Chef Michael Howell of Tempest Restaurnt in Wolfville.

An auction was held with proceeds going to the IWK Childrens Hospital.

The photos and painting were auctioned off and raised $950 which will be matched raising a total of $1,950.

The centerpieces on the tables were purchased raising $280 and will also be matched, for a total of $560. The grand total raised for the IWK is $2,510. Thank you to our farmers!
